Sweet Lab Writing Workshops was founded by Laura ZinnFromm, an author, journalist, editor and writing coach who curates writing workshops in fiction and creative non-fiction. Her editing clients have been published in a range of publications including The New York Times,The New Yorker, The Yale Review, Huffington Post, The Forward, and the Pennsylvania Gazette.

Laura teaches fiction and creative nonfiction workshops and edits memoirs, personal essays, novels and short stories through her business, Sweet Lab Writing Workshops. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, Huffington Post, Brevity Blog, Eat, Darling, Eat, The Forward, The Girlfriend, Midway Journall, The Opiate and is forthcoming from The Writing Disorder. A former editor at Bloomberg Businessweek, she is a winner of the Clarion Award and the Newspaper Guild’s Page One Award for Labor Reporting. She has appeared on CBS, CNBC, and various cable channels and has taught at Columbia University, Montclair State, the New York Public Library, and through Kelly Writers House at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a B.A. from Wellesley College and an MFA  from Columbia University. She is the author of Sweet Survival: Tales of Cooking & Coping (Greenpoint Press) and is writing a short story collection, Happy Together. She lives in New York City with her husband.
